Clouds get traction as a metaphor because they are shape-shifters.They are curtains of reality, products of a factious room, semi-things, mediators between the object and the medium.
Laying on the grass, watching the sky, seeing rabbits, dinosaurs, ducks, turtles, dogs, cats, snakes, rats, dolphins, jellyfish, lions, elephants – why always animals?
The cloud is a soft display.
