Workshop during Oscillation Festival 2025
During the workshop, we explored game-calling instruments and their potential. We started with a listening walk in the Zonian Forest at dawn to sense and memorise the rhythms and dialogues of the forest through various listening exercises. Afterwards, we gathered inside (so as not to disturb any animals) to mimic and echo the sounds of the forest from our memory with the game-calling instruments. The aim was to develop together a polyrhythmic composition that uses hunting instruments instead of killing and tricking animals to tune in to our environment and potentially wait for response.
